Despite these advance, there are no government approved ozone generators for occupied spaces yet. It should be noted that ozone poses a serious health risk especially when present in higher concentrations.

Currently, the technology behind ozone generators is continuously being improved. Many companies are investing in research to discover new and improved ozone generation technologies. For now, ozone generators play an important role in keeping our drinking water safe, clean and free from bacteria.
